Man-made Hazards

Center for Man-made Hazards.

Anthropogenic hazards, explosions and fires are one of the most common phenomena caused by humans. Pollution of water and the environment is also a hazard caused by the industry as a result of the discharge of toxic chemical materials. The Center works on mapping of potential hazardous structures: industrial installations, contaminated land, pipelines and the like. It also works on creating vulnerability maps and risk maps based on identifying industrial hazardous areas. CMMH develops a methodology for reducing the risk of accidents for different types of industrial equipment.
